Tonight, baby girl got to experience a couple of firsts. She had her first pizza and loved it!
After dinner we all walked to Hagan Dazs and HR had her first ice cream. She didn't know what to think at first...she actually spit out her first bite. She has probably never eaten anything that cold before...most all of the food here is warm/hot.
But, pretty soon this happened...
And, that cup stayed on her face for the remainder of our time at Hagan Dazs and most of the walk back to the hotel. :)
Our little girl is such a bundle of joy...we are so blessed!!!

ReplyDeleteYour post reminded me of our son when he had his first bite of ice cream in Xian. He started to cry and then his face just lit up as he got the taste. We are getting ready (hopefully) to adopt from Love Manor, which led me to find your blog. Your daughter is beautiful!! Congrats. Hope adjustment is going well. I saw you were able to visit the orphanage, and I wondered how that process went. Our son's orphanage did not allow it in 2008. We would like to visit our new son's, Love Manor, if possible should we be approved to adopt him. Thanks, Violet
