Red Thread Care Package

I ordered a care package last week from an online service in China called www.redthreadchina.com.  This company allows you to custom order care packages for your child and they have them delivered to your child's orphanage.  The package was shipped to Hannah Ryan yesterday!  I got a sweet email from Ann at Red Thread China letting me know that Hannah Ryan will receive her package in the next 3 DAYS!!!  It is so amazing to think that by the end of this week our baby girl will have seen our picture for the first time!  Here is the picture that Ann took for us before she mailed the package:

A pillow, cookies for the nannies, a silk journal for her caregivers to write messages to her, a musical bunny, a jump drive with a tag asking the orphanage workers to please upload any pictures of her onto it, and a letter to her caregivers from us.

Please pray that these packages we have sent to Hannah Ryan will start the bonding and attachment process with her...that our pictures and gifts will make her smile!  :)

Care package for Hannah Ryan!

We have sweet friends that live in China who are currently in the States.  They are returning to China at the end of this month and have so sweetly offered to take a care package to Hannah Ryan for us!  It was so fun to prepare the baby photo album, gather everything together, and mail the package knowing that it will soon be in the arms of our baby girl!!!  It was such a joy to pray over this box as a family and put it in the mail!

LOA!!!!!

We just go an email from Karla at Lifeline...our LOA (Letter of Acceptance) came in from China today!!!  God is so good!!!  The entire country of China will be shut down for Chinese New Year next week, which means no paperwork will be processed.  I have been praying that our LOA would come in before Friday when CNY starts...even though it was a long shot for that to happen.  But, God answered my prayers!!!  Our LOA is here and now we can start working towards getting Travel Approval (TA).  Please pray that our process would continue to go quickly & smoothly so we can go get our baby girl in April!
